Recording Now Available: E-Forum on Addressing Ableism in Healthcare

CASLPO, in collaboration with the College of Midwives of Ontario (CMO), held an E-Forum on Addressing Ableism in Healthcare on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. The session featured Dr. Hilary Brown, an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Health & Society and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Cross-appointed to the Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and a Senior Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences, she holds a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Disability & Reproductive Health. Her research program examines maternal and child health across the life course, with a focus on disability, the social determinants of health, and health equity.
