AI Guidance for Registrants Now Available

Two women with a tabletThank you to all registrants who completed CASLPO’s recent survey on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in practice. Your feedback helped inform the development of CASLPO’s new guidance on the use of AI.

AI technologies are evolving quickly and are increasingly being explored across many areas of health care. CASLPO is committed to supporting registrants as they navigate these changes while maintaining safe, ethical, and responsible practice.

Our new AI guidance document for registrants is now available. It outlines key considerations to help audiologists and speech-language pathologists evaluate the use of AI in their practice and aligns with approaches taken by other health regulators.

We will continue to engage with registrants as this area evolves. If you have questions, please contact CASLPO’s Practice Advice Team.
