EN National Day for Truth And Reconciliation

September 30, 2021 was the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - CASLPO President's Message to Council (September 30, 2021) 

Le 30 septembre 2021 avait lieu la première Journée nationale de la vérité et de la réconciliation.

Cette journée est l’occasion de rendre hommage aux enfants disparus et aux survivants des pensionnats, leurs familles et leurs communautés. La commémoration publique de l’histoire tragique et douloureuse des pensionnats et de leurs séquelles durables est un élément essentiel du processus de réconciliation.
