The 2026 Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) Starts January 1
As part of CASLPO's Quality Assurance Program, all General and Academic registrants are required to complete their Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) every year. This year’s SAT will be available on January 1, 2026 and must be submitted by January 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST. You can access and submit your SAT here.
Who Needs to Submit the SAT?
- All General and Academic registrants, including those on leave or unemployed.
- Initial and Non-Practising registrants do not need to submit the SAT.
What's new on the SAT this year?
- New required reading:
- Consent and Capacity Standards [English | French] – AUDs and SLPs
- Documentation Standards [English | French] – AUDs and SLPs
- Conflict of Interest Standards [English | French] – AUDs only
- Practice Standards for Speech-Language Pathology Intervention [English | French] – SLPs only
- Revised indicators: mandatory reporting and professionalism
