CASLPO is seeking feedback on draft Evidence-Informed Practice Standards, which will replace the current Evidence-Based Practice Standards and Alternative Approaches to Intervention Position Statement.
We invite you to review the draft standards and share your input during a 30-day consultation period. Feedback from registrants, the public and other interested and affected parties will be considered before the final standards are submitted to the CASLPO Board of Directors for approval.
You may also wish to refer to the current Evidence-Based Practice Standards and Alternative Approaches to Intervention Position Statement to compare with the draft Practice Standards.
Consultation deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026
Registrants can earn Continuous Learning Activity Credits (CLACs) by reviewing the draft standards and completing the consultation survey. You can record this activity in your 2026 Self-Assessment Tool (SAT).
You can claim one CLAC for each hour that you spend reviewing the draft standards.
Thank you for taking the time to share your input. Your feedback helps ensure the new Practice Standards protect the public and reflect current, attainable expectations for the professions.
