The nomination period for CASLPO’s 2025 Board election opened on March 3 for one available seat in District 6 (All Ontario). This seat was open to either one audiologist or one speech-language pathologist for a three-year term. Simply Voting, a Canadian election company, administered the election.
When nominations closed at midnight on April 1, five eligible candidates had put their names forward—so an election was held. Voting ran from April 15 to 11:59 PM on May 14, 2025.
We’re pleased to announce that Lidia Giosa, SLP, has been elected as the Board Director for District 6. Congratulations, Lidia!
