Have Your Say: Feedback Requested on Proposed Change to CASLPO Fees By-law

CASLPO is Seeking Your Feedback on a Proposed Change to its Fees By-law.

To support the College’s long-term financial sustainability, the Board of Directors is proposing an amendment to By-law No. 2 that would allow annual fee adjustments of up to the yearly increase in the Ontario Consumer Price Index (CPI), subject to Board approval.

The proposed change would provide a more predictable and transparent approach to fee adjustments by helping fees keep pace with inflation and rising operating costs. It is intended to reduce the likelihood of larger fee increases in the future and support the College’s long-term financial planning.

Any annual increase would not be automatic. Each year, the Board would review CASLPO’s financial position, projected operating needs, and broader financial outlook before deciding whether an increase is necessary. The Board would also have the discretion to waive an increase in any given year.

Annual registration fees for the 2026–2027 renewal year will remain unchanged.

We invite you to complete the anonymous survey and share your views on the proposed by-law amendment. The Board of Directors will review survey feedback in September 2026 as part of its decision-making process

The survey closes on August 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this consultation.
