CASLPO Submits Feedback on WSIB Draft Noise-Induced Hearing Loss Policy

CASLPO recently submitted feedback to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Consultation Secretariat regarding its draft Noise-Induced Hearing Loss policy.

The proposed policy has implications for the practice of audiologists in Ontario, including how noise-induced hearing loss claims may be assessed and managed. In its submission, CASLPO outlined key considerations to support clear processes, evidence-informed decision-making, and high standards of hearing healthcare.

CASLPO’s feedback reflects its mandate to protect the public interest and to support safe, ethical, and competent practice across the professions it regulates.

Read CASLPO’s full submission, including detailed recommendations for the WSIB as it finalizes the policy.
