2025 SAT Submission Deadline: January 31st
As part of CASLPO's Quality Assurance Program, all General and Academic registrants are required to complete the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) annually. This process helps registrants demonstrate and enhance their professional knowledge and skills by:
- Reviewing and ensuring alignment with the Professional Standards set by CASLPO, the regulatory body overseeing audiologists and speech-language pathologists (SLPs).
- Developing three learning goals to meet these standards, maintain competence, and broaden knowledge.
- Engaging in at least 15 learning hours to achieve these learning goals.
This year’s SAT must be submitted by January 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Registrants can access and submit their SAT via the Registrants section of our website here.
Who Needs to Submit the SAT?
- All General and Academic registrants, including those on leave or unemployed.
- Initial and Non-Practising registrants do not need to submit the SAT.
What's New This Year?
- Revised Professional Misconduct Regulation: All registrants must review the updated regulation. [English | French]
- Changes to Indicator 1.3 (Non-Clinical SAT): Updated for audiologists, as well as registrants receiving delegation of controlled acts.
