2023 Annual Report Now Available

With a theme of "Building Regulatory Excellence," CASLPO’s 2023 Annual Report reflects our mandate as a health professions regulatory college to pursue excellence in protecting patients and to make sure they always receive safe, quality, ethical, and professional care. The report outlines the College’s activities in pursuit of that goal, and our achievements aligned with our Strategic Plan and Mission, Vision, and Values.

Highlights from the 2023 Annual Report:

There were a total of 3,950 regulated speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and 933 regulated audiologists (AUDs) registered in Ontario as of September 30, 2023.
CASLPO successfully piloted a new peer assessment process to expand assessment to a greater percentage of registrants – without incurring additional costs.
We recruited and trained six individuals from the community to participate in CASLPO committees to further diversify decision-making and expand opportunities for the public to
provide input on key decisions.
We published our first DEI report and successfully held a number of DEI-focused webinars.
